A new poll released shows that President Bush is the most unpopular President of the modern era, at least according to CNN. The survey released Thursday shows 71 percent of Americans do not currently approve of our Commander in Chief. I have to say that I am not surprised, and I could have seen this coming almost eight years ago. An (in my opinion) unnecessary war, poor economic status of the nation, and various incidents such as Karl Rove I would say helped lead to such low ratings. In a time when Democrats can’t seem to agree on Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama for their next candidate, it seems they can all agree that someone needs to replace Bush soon

Colbert Doesn’t Need to be President
14 04 2008Leave it to Stephen Colbert to stir up some humor while we all patiently await for the Pennsylvania primary which is a week from tomorrow. According to CNN, Colbert claims he doesn’t need to be President despite his failed “attempt” at the office.
“I don’t need to be president. I don’t need to be president,” repeated the comedian in a recent interview, as if trying to convince himself. “If somebody else needs that, if Hillary Clinton or John McCain or Barack Obama need that title to make themselves feel good, that’s fine…”
Colbert was leading the polls in South Carolina where he was running as a favorite son but was not allowed on the ballot for fear of being a distraction to the more serious candidates
